Rev. Elizabeth R. Hood, PhD, RhD

Elizabeth Hood, founder of East of Eden Wellness Services, My Satori^TM and Rise Above^TM Workshops, is a transpersonal counselor who recognizes the deep and lasting healing that occurs when one includes a holistic view of the Mind, Body, and Spirit.  One's spiritual connection and sense of purpose are very important to emotional and physical health.  With that in mind, Elizabeth brings a number of highly-effective alternative therapy techniques to her counseling, including RoHun and Inner Child therapies, holistic energy healing, intuitive counseling, and educational programs. 

Thirty years of balancing a corporate career and family, Elizabeth personally experienced the tightly intertwined relationship between one's thoughts, sense of worth, and physical health; and experienced the profound relationship between health and happiness and one's connection to a Greater Ideal.  She wanted more.

So, Elizabeth retired from the corporate world to pursue those things that align with her ideals and purpose in Life -- to help others realize health, happiness, fulfillment, abundance, harmony, peace, love, and purpose in their lives.  She realized that there was a real need for therapy that addressed spiritual ideals and emotional issues in an effective, practical, and usable way.  Toward that end, Elizabeth enhanced her innate skills and life experience with a Doctor of Science in Transpersonal Psychology and Complementary and Alternative Medical Therapies and a Doctorate in RoHun Therapy, Spiritual Counseling, and Philosophy. In addition to her practice, Elizabeth is an accomplished public speaker, teacher, and artist.

East of Eden Wellness Services, Satori^TM and  Rise Above^TM Workshops incorporate Elizabeth Hood's ideals:
